Today's Word

God told Abraham: leave everything and go. I'll show you where. Abraham was 75 years old - and he went. Then Jesus takes three disciples up a mountain and his face shines like the sun. A voice from a cloud says: "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him."

Real Talk

Peter saw the glory and wanted to stay on the mountain forever. Relatable. Who wants to come back down to normal life after a moment like that? But Jesus brought them back down because the glory wasn't the point - it was fuel for what was coming next. You'll have moments where faith clicks and God feels real. You'll have way more moments where it doesn't. That's not failure. That's the walk.

One Prayer

God, I want the mountaintop every day. But if today is a walking day, walk with me. That's enough. Amen.
