Today's Word
Today's Word
Israel was dying of thirst in the desert and blamed Moses. God made water flow from a rock. Then Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well and offers her "living water" - water that becomes a spring inside you that never runs dry.
Real Talk
The Samaritan woman came to the well alone at noon because she was avoiding people. Five failed marriages. A complicated situation. She was used to judgment. Then Jesus shows up, knows everything about her, and doesn't flinch. He doesn't lecture. He doesn't shame her. He offers her something she didn't even know she needed. That's how Jesus works. He meets you where you are - not where you're supposed to be. He already knows your story. The parts you post and the parts you hide. And he's not scared of any of it. He's just sitting at the well, waiting for you to be honest about what you're thirsty for.
One Prayer
Jesus, I'm thirsty for something I can't get from my phone, my friends, or my achievements. I think it might be you. Meet me where I am. Amen.
Your Challenge
Be honest with yourself today: what are you actually thirsty for? Not what you're supposed to want - what you really need. Bring that to God without editing it.
You are not alone. Submit your intentions and they'll be carried to Holy Hour this Sunday.
