Welcome to Domus.

One reading. Five minutes. A path shaped for the way you actually live - and how you actually pray. Best at the start of your day.

What Domus Is

Domus is Latin for home.

It appears throughout the Church’s documents on the family - the domestic church - the home as the core unit of society, of the Church, and of formation.

Domus exists to support every home in being a home that prays with the heart of the Church’s Scripture, every day.

One reading. Five minutes. A path shaped for whoever you are and however you live.

Find Your Path

Pick the path that fits your life. You can change it later, or add another.

However You Pray

Read it. Listen to it. Or both.

  • Web
  • Email
  • App

Domus meets you where you already pray. Read it on the web. Get it in your inbox. Open the app. Listen on the way to work, on a walk, while you make coffee. Pick one. Pick all of them. Change your mind tomorrow.

We’re not adding another thing to your phone you didn’t want. We’re putting the Church’s daily Scripture wherever it actually fits your life.

What Happens Next

  1. 1 Pick a path above and read today’s reflection.
  2. 2 Try it free for 7 days.
  3. 3 Pray with it tomorrow morning.

That’s it. No long onboarding. No course to complete. Just the day’s reading and a few minutes of reflection, the way the Church has always done it - now shaped for the way you actually live.

Common Questions

Do I have to download an app?

No. You can read Domus on the web, get it by email, use the app, or any combination. You choose.

What if I want to add another path later?

You can. Many households use Hearth together and Iron or Vessel individually. Add or change paths anytime from your account.

Is this Catholic?

Yes. Domus is built on the Church’s daily Scripture readings - the same readings prayed at Mass around the world each day - with reflection written for the season of life you’re in.
