Hosanna to Crucify

Today's Word
Today the crowd waves palms and shouts "Hosanna!" By Friday, the same crowd shouts "Crucify him!" Today you hear the whole Passion - Judas's betrayal, Peter's denial, Pilate's hand-washing, the cross. At the moment Jesus dies, the whole church kneels.
Real Talk
The scariest thing about Palm Sunday isn't what "they" did to Jesus. It's that you're in the crowd. The liturgy doesn't let you be a spectator. You wave the palms. You shout hosanna. And then you hear yourself in every character: Judas who sold him out for money. Peter who swore he'd never leave and left. Pilate who knew the truth and washed his hands of it. The crowd that chose Barabbas. We are all of them. Every one. That's not guilt-tripping. That's honesty. And it's why the cross matters - because it was for people exactly like us. Take your palm home. Put it behind a cross. Let it remind you all year: he did this for you.
One Prayer
Jesus, I'm in the crowd. I've shouted hosanna and looked away when it cost something. Forgive me. Walk me through this week. Amen.
Your Challenge
Bring your palm home. Put it somewhere you'll see it every day. And plan to attend at least one more Holy Week service - Thursday, Friday, or the Vigil. This week matters.
You are not alone. Submit your intentions and they'll be carried to Holy Hour this Sunday.
