Mary Magdalene found the tomb empty. Peter and John ran to see. The burial cloths were there, folded. He wasn't there. He is risen from the dead. This changes everything.
Real Talk
Happy Easter. This is the day. Not Christmas. Not your birthday. This. The day death died. The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive. Everything the Church has been building toward for 40 days comes down to this: he's not in the grave. If this is true - and it is - then nothing else works the same way anymore. Death isn't final. Suffering isn't meaningless. Your life has a direction and a destination. He is risen. Say it out loud. Text it to someone. Post it. Shout it. Mean it. Alleluia.

Jesus, you're alive. I believe it. Help me live like it's true every single day, not just today. Alleluia. Amen.
