Vessel & Altar
We hold this treasure in earthen vessels.
Daily liturgical formation for Catholic women who pour out - and who need to be poured into. The vessel holds the treasure and pours it out. But the vessel also needs to be filled.

"What woman having ten coins and losing one would not light a lamp and sweep the house, searching carefully until she finds it?" - Luke 15:8
Reflection
A woman turns her whole house over for one coin out of ten, sweeping every corner until it turns up, and when it does, she doesn't quietly file the relief away. She calls in her friends and neighbors to celebrate with her. That's the model this whole month is asking you to keep, Sister - not a private, tidy grief for the names in your book, but a search conducted in the open, and a joy shared once something is found.
Paul, in the first reading, lists his own impressive credentials and then calls the whole thing loss compared to actually knowing Christ. A vessel who has built something real - a career, a reputation, a role others respect - is the one most at risk of confusing the account with the owner. None of what Paul built was fake. It simply wasn't the point, and the same holds for whatever you've built.
You are being carried home by every prayer still said for you, and those who went before you are being carried home by your prayers.
Notice that the woman doesn't just find the coin and move on quietly. She calls in her friends to celebrate. Your own search for a name this month deserves that same instinct - not a private task to check off, but something to name out loud to someone else once it's done.
Search for someone tonight the way the woman searched for her coin - not efficiently, but completely, until you find their name and pray it out loud.
The Challenge
Choose one name from your book tonight and pray for that person specifically, by name, with the same persistence the woman gave her search.
One Prayer
Lord, you sweep the whole house for one lost coin. Search that carefully for every name I carry, and for me. Amen.
